Alongside an extensive career as a research specialist and senior executive, Andrea works to advance diversity, equity and inclusion, psychological safety and anti-racism, collaboratively working on strategies, policy reviews, and research projects. 

She is an influential DEI advocate, having published articles and making submissions to parliamentary inquiries and consultations, including to the Australian Human Rights Commission’s consultation on Australia’s first Anti-Racism Framework. Andrea has also held leadership positions on prominent Committees and Boards focused on DEI and intersectionality.

Andrea has qualifications in science, research, nutrition, law, and mediation. She has held senior leadership positions in governance, research, implementation, and stakeholder engagement, and also worked in areas of policy, corporate law, legislative services and strategic communications.

She is a sought-after workplace advisor and has also mentored and coached many individuals through experiences of workplace discrimination and marginalisation. 

To all her roles, Andrea brings deep understanding of DEI issues and intersectionality informed by evidence, knowledge and her own lived experience of both privilege and marginalisation, gender and racial discrimination, and life as a second-generation migrant.
